MJ Freeway

This article will walk you through the necessary steps to successfully create a Surfside Source integration with MJ Freeway​

Once Completed you will be able to:​

  • Create and model audiences based on MJ Freeway transactions
  • Measure your Advertising and Marketing campaigns tied to MJ Freeway transactions

Setting up your MJ Freeway integration:​

  1. Apply for an account on the MJ Freeway Partners Portal

If you already have an account on our Partners Portal, you can skip this step.

  • Navigate to our Partners Portal at partners.mjfreeway.com and click Apply for Access.

  • On the Apply for Access page, enter your information in the provided fields, and select the APIs you want to access, then click Apply.

  • You will receive a verification email from the site. Follow the steps in the email to verify your email address and complete your account application.

  1. Send MJ Freeway team a request email with the client Cc’d

    • MJ Freeway require approval from each client that is requesting access to before approving any request.

    To request approval, send an email to our API team with the following:

    • To: partners@mjfreeway.com
    • Cc: [email address of the client requesting API access and integrations@surfside.io]
    • Subject line: Partner API Key Request
    • Example/suggested message: “Hello, we are requesting a new API key to complete our integration with MJ Platform for our client’s live site. Our client has been Cc’d and will reply to this email to confirm their approval. Please let us know when the API key is ready. Thank you.”

  2. Wait for a response email

  • Once the client has confirmed their approval, our API team can review the request. Upon approval, they will generate a new API key, place it into your Partner Portal, and then send you a confirmation email.
  1. Retrieve your API key
  • Once you receive the confirmation email, log in to the Partners Portal at partners.mjfreeway.com

  1. Once you receive the keys, please share with your Surfside account manager

For self service customers please log in to Surfside dashboard and head to Create Source, select Commerce set type to MJ Freeway. Enter your Store Name, enter API key, set lookback period and schedule dates and save Source.

  1. Login to your Surfside account and create a new Source by going to https://app.surfside.io/create/source
  1. Select your Account and a define a Name for your new source, select Commerce as the source type.

  1. Select MJ Freeway as your Commerce datasource

  1. Enter the API Key, Organization ID and Facility ID and User ID provided in Step 4 and define the Start Date you would like to import data from.

  1. Define a schedule frequency and click Review.
  1. Select the desired streams to import, click Save and then Finish to create your new MJ Freeway Source.
  1. You have now completed the Surfside / MJ Freeway integration.
